meet the FOUNDERS
Bel Calcio Began as a 7V7 team formed by Nick Stephens. Stephens hails from Cleveland, Ohio and has played soccer all his life. He moved to Atlanta in 2021 and played on various teams throughout the atlanta metro area, but created bel calcio because he wanted a consistent, quality team to be a part of. Stephens is a midfielder and plays on both of our competitive teams.
James Serrano was one of the original 7v7 Bel Calcio players and the inspiration behind our 11v11 men’s competitive team. After playing with several competitive clubs in Atlanta, including Potros FC, Serrano wanted a competitive environment that he could put his stamp on. Serrano has now moved away, but played a crucial role in the club’s development on and off the field.
