ABOUT US

Bel Calcio FC was founded in February 2023 by Nick Stephens as a 7v7 team competing in the sons of pitches Men’s Open division. The team was formed with quality players that stephens knew from leagues and pickup games throughout the city. The name “Bel Calcio” is Italian for “Beautiful Football,” a nod to stephens’ italian heritage. We strive to play in a way that embodies that name, dominating possession and moving the ball quickly to create chances.

In July of 2023, Bel Calcio player James Serrano formed our 11v11 men’s competitive team and Bel Calcio moved from a team to a club. Our 11v11 team is the highest level of competition at Bel Calcio and competes in the Atlanta District Amateur Soccer league (ADASL).

In 2024, Bel Calcio FC earned our first two trophies as a club, with our 7v7 team winning league titles at both sons of pitches and silverbacks. We followed that up in 2025 with our biggest accomplishment yet: our 11v11 team won the adasl Division 2 league title and clinched promotion to the first division. We will compete in ADASL division 1 starting in fall 2025.

In 2024, Bel Calcio FC also added a beginners’ 7v7 team that competes on monday nights in the sons of pitches league. This is a coed team focused on teaching new players the game, and is a great opportunity for players who want to be a part of bel calcio but don’t have the experience.
